On a sunny day in this program our children can be found playing in the colourful shapes cast through the stained glass windows that adorn the walls of the Bridgenorth United Church chapel. This site originated in September 2000 as a satellite program offering before and after school care to 30 school-age children. As the program flourished, it quickly became evident that there was a significant need for a fullday program in this community. In September 2004, Trent Child Care - Bridgenorth expanded to include 24 full-time preschool spaces. In September 2005 this successful program expanded once again to include 8 toddler spaces. As a result we are pleased to offer spaces for children from 18 months to 12 years of age.
Our qualified professional staff provides care in a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment. Group and individual activities encourage children to develop creatively, cognitively, emotionally and physically.
For our parents, the Bridgenorth program is conveniently located right next to Chemong Public School in the heart of the village.
This site is accessible, and we offer integrated care for children with special needs.
All locations are closed for statutory holidays, the civic holiday in August and for a two-week period at Christmas.
