A stimulating yet nurturing learning environment is created by our experienced and knowledgable staff. Programming for each playroom focuses on a special weekly theme which takes into consideration the children's development and interests. Each day the children enjoy free play time with their peers. During this time they explore all activities in the room including a daily art activity. At circle time aspects of the theme are explored through a variety of methods including stories, songs and fingerplays. Twice a day there are outdoor playtimes in our spacious playgrounds which border on natural woodland. The youngest children delight in going for walks on campus in our special triple strollers. Lots of fresh air and active play create hearty appetites for delicious hot lunches and snacks prepared by our dedicated cook.
Several times a year the children go on exciting field trips off campus. These have included trips to the sugar bush, a pumpkin farm and, of course, to the local zoo.
Some spaces are available for children attending junior and senior kindergarten. Part-time spaces (minimum of two full days per week) are also available.
All locations are closed for statutory holidays, the civic holiday in August and for a two-week period at Christmas.
